Andrew is miserable! He’s got a tooth that’s ALMOST here.
Actually, it looks like 2 teeth are about to come at the same time.
Lois’ parents said something recently about the first person that spots a tooth must buy his first pair of shoes.
I had never heard of such a thing, but I have been trying to convince Lois’ mother that the shoe thing is from when she was a kid. Due to inflation, it should now be “whoever finds the first tooth pays for college.”
I have yet to meet any success on this so far, but I might have a few more days to work on this before the tooth breaks through. I’m thinking we could meet in the middle and just say that whoever finds the tooth buys the kid his first car.
Whatever the wager, be sure that if Lois and I spot the tooth, we are denying it and driving him quickly over to Mema and Pop-Pop’s house for them to make the discovery!

I think you could turn this into a betting pool and make it a lot more interesting for the grown ups.

I never heard of anything like that! If it is true than I better stop spotting teeth on my day care kids! I cannot afford that!

I’ve never heard of that either. That’s funny.
I would think it should go….who ever sees the first tooth buys him his first steak.
Makes more sense

Haha.. I’ve never heard of that either!
Like the idea of rushing there for them to spot it first.. DON’T LOOK IN HIS MOUTH… Just feel with your eyes closed.. LoL

LOL Merr! Let’s hope Lois’ mother is the only one who knows this so-called first tooth rule. I hope your day care parents don’t know about it!

I’ve never heard of it either. I’d at least shot for something like his winter wardrobe
I know Colton was miserable too.. it is awful. At least it stops right after it breaks through so come on tooth! (or teeth)

Poor kiddo – I bet he is miserable. Teething flat out sucks, IMO.
I’ve never heard of the whole shoe thing, but I’d certainly go with it!

My partners mother told us the same thing as your mil. Maybe it’s an east coast thing (and an old thing). Of course I hate my mil so I wouldn’t give her the satisfaction of finding a tooth, but thats my petty nature
