We’ve been busy. Seems like a lot going on with everything.
Still no bites on the house. We’re listing it with a realtor tomorrow. I think it’s tough to decide how much money we are willing to lose on this. But if we can get into a nice house in this market, maybe it’s all worth it. It’s a little stressful.
Andrew got his first black and blue mark today. Lois’ father was freaking out because we let him play on the hardwood and tile floors without having pillows surrounding him or a helmet and pads on him. No less than 2 minutes later, Andrew tries to stand up holding onto the table leg and WHAM! Right in the noggin.
Pop-pop spent the rest of the night chiding us about being uncaring mommies. Imagine what that’s going to look like tomorrow.
Today, we also got our first family photo in a while. It’s the only one we have where Andrew is not crying and we’re not covered in spit up.
Everything is well with us. Lois absolutely loves her job. We’re also kind of entertaining opening a business that may possibly be a franchise opportunity. Yes, let’s add more to our over-full plate. We’ll see.
Sorry we’ve had a lot of radio silence lately. I need to really focus on work and some other things. We are not forgetting all of our friends out there! We’re just playing a little catch up.

You guys look great, and I’m glad you’re just busy and that the silence isn’t due to something else. Sorry A had to feel the bump, but I’m sure it won’t be his last!!
Good luck on making all of the decisions you have before you!

Ouch! Poor A. That bruise reminds me of my little brother who used to develop cartoon-sized lumps every time he banged his head. Never did learn. Never did him any lasting harm though.
Lovely family shot as well.
Good luck with the house/business stuff.

Thanks for the positive comments about the family picture. I hate looking at pictures of myself. I always tell Lois that we are a one-sided couple when it comes to the looks department. She is the cute one! Not sure what I bring to the table. LOL!!!
The background is the front yard at Lois’ parents’ house. It worked out perfectly. We tried to snap pictures while there weren’t any cars driving right behind us! LOL!

Love the family photo!
The first few bumps are always a bit scary for us adults, but they’re inevitable and really quite minor in the big scheme of things. Pop-pop loves his little grandbaby, so he’s concerned. Sounds like he’s over-reacting a bit, though. Can’t protect them every waking minute.
Isaac has had his share of scuffles with coffee tables.

Beautiful photo of you three. I definitely would not call it a lopsided family in the looks department…you are all adorable and look perfect together. Head bumps are inevitable but we still try hard to protect their noggins. Sophie loves to “walk” by pushing the ottoman on wheels right over to the (marble) fireplace…causing anyone in the vicinity to shriek “Grab her!” Ah, toddlerhood…such a relaxing time, LOL! We’ve had to move the playpen into the garage while our house is being shown by realtors…and we really miss it! Good luck with your house sale and house-hunting. We truly empathize!

That picture is FANTASTIC! It should be your Christmas card. You ALL look gorgeous. Andrew looks super happy, and if a bonk on the head makes you bad mommies, then I must be a horrible one. Henry’s had more bonks and bumps than I care to remember. I still freak out every time, but I know it’s par for the course.
Happy Halloween!
