Halloween ended up being a bust. Andrew had a slight fever and was totally glassy-eyed when Lois picked him up from her parents. So we hung out a little on the front stoop and went to bed early.
It was a busy weekend. Had a confirmation party in Long Island on Saturday night. Hit White Castle on the way home (total WW points in one evening approx. 120)
Sunday was “new member” stuff at church, birthday party for a 3 yr old then back to church for a chili dinner. We left the house at 9:45 am and didn’t get home until 7 pm. At least I was able to watch the last quarter of the Pats/Colts game! Which was the best time to turn it on
Andrew has his 9 month well visit this afternoon. He still has a cold. He’s got the constant runny nose thing and gets a little pissed off if we try to wipe it. His top 2 teeth are coming in. One is already through and working it’s way down (probably in line with the low grade fever on Wed). He’s moving everywhere and has pretty much pulled open, pulled down, shoved over, poked at every single thing he could possibly reach in the house. Things we never thought we needed to child proof, he’s discovered and attacked.
Our lives are busy. Work is dragging (I’ll take a picture of my office one of these days to show what it’s been like). We decided to list the condo with a realtor and it went on the market Friday. Not one bite over the weekend, but I am really trying to allow myself to not get stressed about it. We found another great house and I am trying to keep myself from falling in love with it.
And we have a wonderful friend staying with us (in our basement on a futon) since she really needs a place right of sanctity now. We love having her around (as does Andrew), we just wish we had better accommodations.
Someone is having a 40th birthday tomorrow (the non-blogging Momma), so I need to do something for that. Why not wait for the last minute.
Hope everyone is doing well. There are some newly pregnant ladies out there so please go give them some love. (The Cutest Little Babymakers and oneofhismoms. I am keeping up on everyone as much as I can. Even if I’m not always commenting!
Here’s a little multimedia experience of the past weekend. Hope you enjoy!
A quick video of our quiet child.
This one is long, but it shows the boy as we know him. Especially the end where he gets mad that he doesn’t have any more food.

How funny. Do you really have to limit his food intake at this age ?
(I’m laughing hysterically right now)
He really is waisting (yes misspelled on purpose) away !
Thanks for the update. Good luck selling the house. It will happen when it’s supposed to happen !
