We thought we were going to get a priceless picture today.
It is priceless.
And this picture says it all too. A booger-y unhappy boy.
The last post about us being so hardcore about the sleep thing. Yes, it was a big steaming pile of crap.
He was sick Thursday and Friday. We’ve had him in bed with us every night since Thursday night.
I took a 1/2 day on Friday to hang with him – thankfully since the commute home would have taken me over 2 hours with the weather blitz we had (which snow is already gone). We tried to put him down in his crib again tonight. He cried for well over an hour before we cracked.
Today, the fever was better and the sneezing and boogers weren’t too horrible, so we went to a kids’ Christmas party with my mom at her club. It was adorable in an organized chaos kind of way.
Andrew’s cousin E. wanted a picture with him and Santa today.

OMG! I feel sorry for the kids who are made to sit on Santa’s lap. Isaac would’ve done the same thing. Too much trauma for me. I’m sure I would’ve ended up in tears, too.

I am so sorry he is sick….Geez – it is the worst feeling in the world (at least to me) when little ones are sick because they cannot tell you what hurts or what is going on…I hope he really starts to feel better soon….the last two photos are perfect for christmas cards…very nice!!!
My daughter screamed for the first two christmas santa’s laps..so don’t worry – santa seems to have that effect on the majority of little ones…

Holly,
Get the “No Cry Sleep Solution” book. It gives Lots of ideas on how to get him to sleep in his bed with as little torture as possible. There may still be a little crying, but it’s a great book.

Dude I love the first Santa photo! That is freaking hilarious. I don’t know who is more scared, Santa or Andrew! So funny! We never got one like that because Cam loved Santa.
