Same shit different day around here.
Started Christmas shopping tonight. Just got home. ugh.
Our condo has not sold yet – the open house was canceled due to weather on Sunday. I guess we’ll pick back up on that after the new year. Hopefully we can have a few days where we aren’t frantic to make sure the house is perfect.
I had my yearly review at work for my first year there. No surprises. They’ll keep me around but there’s always room for improvement, right!?! I was actually very positive considering that the “most difficult to please boss in the office” seems okay with me. That’s pretty big, I guess.
Andrew’s been sick for about 2 weeks. He was put on a nebulizer last week and seems to have gotten rid of the chest thing. But now, it seems like the teeth are coming in busloads. We might be close to 7 teeth right now. Not sure.
Daycare told us our kid is needy. Sheesh.
Andrew is winning the sleep/crib wars, mostly because he’s been sick. We just can’t make him cry it out when he’s sick. He’ll sleep through the night no problem in our bed. And we sleep too. Well, as well as two mommies can sleep in a queen bed with a 23 lb boy who keeps wanting to be sideways.
Hope everyone’s holidays are going well. We’ve been going non-stop and can’t wait for a day of family time.

Glad to hear that Andrew’s feeling a little better. I think this time of year sucks and with a child in daycare, they’re bound to get sick a lot at first. Riley has had a snotty nose for a while. Ugh.
Love the video. Riley plays that chase game with a ball too. She loves them. It’s one of her words now. She says “bah” and then throws it. I love that they can now play games.
Sorry about work but hopefully the new year makes it better with the boss. And hopefully the new year also brings the sale of your house! Fingers crossed!

Sounds like you guys are going through a super busy time. Hope things settle down soon. Sorry to hear Andrew’s been sick. I can’t believe daycare said he was “needy”. He’s a baby, of course he’s needy! Jeez.

Avalon finally got her first two teeth. At once! Boo’s school told us she is needy. It never feels good to learn your child is needy, especially when you aren’t the one to give them what they need.

I am so sorry that Andrew has been so sick….the nebulizer really helps with chest junk…my daughter was on it for the first couple of years of her life….unfortunately I am on it …but it sure does help.
He just cracks me up playing….his laughter is very contagious…too cute…forget what the day care says….I used to own one…first I would never have told a parent that…it just shows me that they do not like to go outside their routine with a child….Either the child is perfect or is needy…I think that is horrible!!!
I hope your holiday is stress free – the new year will be better for both your condo and Andrew sleeping in his own bed…he just has to get over the teeth coming in and being sick.

adorable videos! ryan has been sick the last few days too. and she also gets to sleep in our bed when sick and for some reason horizontal is her preference as well. what is it with these kids!?
i hope you guys have a nice relaxing holiday week. we’ll be in south florida with my in laws so hopefully we’ll get a little break as well!
