I thought that many of the things in the discovery process were supposed to be cute and funny.
Things like flicking the light switch and watching the light come on.
Pushing a button and seeing a toy light up.
I envisioned these discoveries as a cute and playful moment, with Andrew smiling and clapping with adorable glee!
The recent discoveries for Andrew include:
1. squeezing fruit in his hands and watching the juice run down his arm
2. pushing one side of a bowl to flip the contents of it across the room
3. sticking his hand down his throat and making himself gag. Over and over again
These things aren’t as cute as I thought they would be.
He thinks he is hysterical.

Well, on the bright side at least he’s not puking when he’s sticking his hand down his throat.

He sounds like a boy! J blew a booger on his Papa last night and as we sat horrified he laughed so hard he could barely breathe. Andrew is one funny kid! You gotta get the gagging on video!

Hey girls, hey Andrew! Adam does the same thing as Andrew with the gagging. Over and over again. He even does it at the dinner table. We try not to react incase it encourages him to gag himself more and more. A few times seeing him do it has actually made ME gag. I can’t imagine how that could possibly feel good but he gets a kick out of it!

Oh my god, I am so glad to hear we are not the only ones that deal with that gagging yourself trick. Ben just started it, it is awful.

A total AMEN to that!
I must say though, as much as I feel your pain, it did make me laugh to read it happening to you too!!

Erik discovered the joy of flinging mashed potatoes against the wall with a fork the other night. Fun times.
Erik hasn’t done the gagging thing yet. I think that one will stress me out!
