change the date

Had a doc appointment today after about 3 reschedules. I hate that my job has not been flexible lately. But, I made it and everything looks good!
The ultrasound was a belly one, so the one picture I got wasn’t too great. But I saw the heartbeat (158) and a little head and spine and body. Next appt. is in June 26th.
We’re a little anxious to find out what we’re having! I’m super anxious.

BTW – MAKE SURE YOU SUBMIT YOUR GUESS FOR MY BABY GAME!

My due date changed. We had based the due date and how far along we were on the ovulation/insemination date. Today, they used the first day of my last period. I personally feel that this is a little skewed since my cycles are only 23 days long, but whatever.

So, instead of Thanksgiving Day, I’m due 12/1. Instead of being 14 weeks, I’m only 13. Whatever.

I have other updates to do, but I’m crazy at work. Good news is that it’s going to be another record for billable hours this month for me. Bad news is that the Shmoo is super cranky and not sleeping well lately and I’ve been super cranky, super pukey and super tired.

I’m seeing some potential relief in sight the week of June 15th possibly. Hope all is well with my friends in blogland!!

We’re nearly on the same schedule! Today we had our 12week appointment (EDD 12/9) and the heartbeat was 159. Our next appointment is June 25th. =)

We learned to lie about when Kim’s last period was, because they insisted on dating it from there, even though she doesn’t have a 28 day cycle either. These doctors can’t wrap their heads around it, so we just lie now. I mean, we know when we inseminated so we know exactly how pregnant we are. Like our fertility doc said, “You can’t be more (or less) pregnant than we know you to be!”

Glad all went well at the appointment.

158 eh? The old wives’ tale says girl!

I agree with others, you aren’t less pregnant. It’s not like with straight people guessing their insemination date–you know yours! I’d tell them that it’s ridiculous to go by that date since you know when you ovulated.

Getting closer to the halfway mark! I can’t wait to find out what you’re having and to see if the baby has THE hairline. ;)

Andrew is getting so big and I laughed at those pics of him cruising with his bff. Too cute.
